You may qualify for local clinical trials.

Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s are both inflammatory bowel diseases that involve chronic inflammation of all or part of the digestive tract.

  • Both usually include symptoms such as diarrhea, stomach pain, cramping, and fatigue during active periods of the disease – what you may call “flares”.
  • Everyone with UC and Crohn’s experiences some degree of pain and inconvenience that can impact your lifestyle.
  • Some people only experience an occasional annoyance, while others with more severe symptoms experience chronic life disruption from flares.

Better treatment options are needed for people who suffer with UC or Crohn’s. Right now, local doctors are looking for people who have UC or Crohn’s to participate in local research studies.

You may qualify for local clinical trials. But don’t delay — space is limited.

* In a clinical research study, the participants may receive investigational study products or an inactive substance, or placebo, depending on the study design. Participants receive study-related care from a doctor/research team for the duration of the study. All clinical research studies are approved by SAHPRA and a Research Ethics Committee.
